About Us

The Trauma and Attachment Center Experience

These days families come in all shapes, sizes and make-ups. Early disruption in a child's attachment, whether from a death, early medical condition, foster care placement, deployment, adoption or any other reason can affect different children in different ways. We help identify where the issues started so that they can be addressed, healed, and then transformed into a strengthened connection with their caregivers today.

At the Trauma and Attachment Center we help you build and strengthen your attachments to reduce disruptive behavior and negative coping skills. Our goal is to help individuals and families grow in a healthier direction. We specialize in children with adoption, foster care and early trauma that has strained their relationships- which many times causes them to learn unhealthy skills to get their needs met. We work with parents and caregivers to help them learn how to best help their child be successful.

We also work with adults suffering from attachment trauma. Trauma at early stages of life can cause a myriad of issues from relationship difficulties to chronic pain. We help adults who have not yet healed their early trauma find resolution and solace.
